Disco
In the Disco era, many different couple dances were described. Here are some of them:
- Continental Hustle: Step left (1), tap closed (2), step right (3), tap closed (4), then step (5), step (6) [AK79].
- American Tap Hustle: Tap left toe behind (where a rock step would be) (1), step closed (2), tap right behind (3), step closed (4), then step (5), step (6) [AK79].
- American Toe Hustle: Tap left toe to left (1), step closed (2), tap right toe to right (3), step closed (4), then step (5), step (6) [AK79].
- American Heel Hustle: Tap left heel to left (1), step closed (2), tap right heel to right (3), step closed (4), then step (5), step (6) [AK79].
- Lindy Hustle: Tap left toe to left (1), step left (2), tap right toe to right (3), step right (4), then a rock step (5, 6) [AK79].
- Double Holding Hustle: Holding open two hands, tap left toe to left (1), step back left (2), tap right toe to right (3), step back right (4), then take to steps forward toward partner (5, 6) [AK79].
